A MINECRAFT MOVIE follows five outcasts as they travel through an enigmatic realm. Steve lives in Chuglass, Idaho, and deals in doorknobs. He is dissatisfied and decides to pursue his sincere love of mining. He enters a neighboring mineshaft and begins to dig, when he unexpectedly discovers a mystery cube and an orb. Immediately after he enters the cube inside the sphere, he is transported to the captivating Overworld, where creativity is unrestricted. He adapts to this new setting by creating incredible structures and making a close buddy in Dennis, a wolf, who becomes his loyal companion.
